AFF Training in Alabama

Alabama gives skydivers a lot of ground to look at. The Appalachian foothills roll across the north, the land flattens out toward the Gulf of Mexico in the south, and the drop zones in between serve first-time tandem students and seasoned fun-jumpers alike. The mild climate keeps the season long and the sport accessible. Jump over the rolling hills of Central Alabama or the flatlands down south and the view holds your attention either way.

First-timers here usually go tandem. The programs are built for people with no experience: a short briefing, a harness clipped to an instructor, and then the door. The point is to keep it safe and let you actually enjoy the freefall and the wide-open scenery, a glimpse of the Tennessee River up north, or the Mobile Bay estuary system as you head toward the coast.
