Missouri gives skydivers a mix of ground to fly over. The Ozark Plateau folds up in the south; the plains flatten out along the Missouri River. Sitting in the middle of the country, the state pulls jumpers in from neighboring states too, which keeps its scene busy and its zones stocked for everyone from a first tandem student to a veteran chasing an advanced rating.

First tandem here comes with the full setup: experienced instructors, current gear, and a ground briefing built to settle your nerves before the door opens. The ground below is a quilt of farm fields, bending rivers, and far-off skylines. Zones near St. Louis and Kansas City are the easiest to reach and tend to run the bigger operations.
