After AFF release you move to coached solo jumps. You exit and fall on your own while a USPA Coach jumps with or near you, refining freefall skills, fall-rate control, docking, and tracking. On the canopy side you build accuracy landings and pattern discipline. This phase (USPA Categories F–H) bridges instructor-assisted training and unsupervised jumping.
You are now essentially a solo skydiver under coaching. The goal is to round out the A-license proficiency card: the specific freefall and canopy tasks the USPA requires before signing you off.
