  First-time skydiver and I had an absolute blast. I was terrified going in, but the team was incredibly calm and reassuring from check-in to landing, which made all the difference. The initial jump was wild, the freefall was everything I hoped for, and once the parachute opened it turned into the most peaceful, beautiful float. I felt so happy I did it I actually cried. If you're on the fence, do it. Thank you to the whole crew for making it safe and unforgettable!!!💖✨🌠😮‍💨 My instructor was Chad, he made my entire skydive! From the second I met him he was already cracking jokes and making me laugh so hard my nerves just disappeared. He's pure sunshine — funny, calm, and so good at what he does. Everything was smooth, from how clearly he explained it all to making sure I was actually having fun the whole way down. And you can tell he loves it too, he has an absolute blast up there. I left thinking about the jump, and about him, long after I left the dropzone haha. Truly made my day. If you get Chad as your instructor, you're lucky!!!!

  As a newly licensed skydiver, my first visit to Skydive Chicago was during Summerfest 2025, and it completely changed my perspective on the sport. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the load organizers. They created an environment that balanced safety, learning, and fun, and I learned more than I ever expected. Before Summerfest, my mindset was focused on building jump numbers. After spending time at SDC, that shifted to focusing on becoming a better flyer, thanks to JRuss and the other organizers. At the time, I had never even heard of SDC Core or any of the load organizers I ended up jumping with, but they made a lasting impression. Since then, I've prioritized quality over quantity and spent months searching for the right coach. I first met JRuss at Summerfest and later met his wife, Stephanie, at Invasion and again while training in Utah. Most recently, I had the opportunity to train with Steph for three days at Skydive Chicago, and the progress I made from Day 1 to Day 3 exceeded my expectations. She is an incredibly humble, patient, knowledgeable, and supportive coach who has a real gift for helping people improve while making the learning process enjoyable. I enjoyed the experience so much that I've already planned to return in August for more coaching, and I hope to continue training with her whenever our schedules allow. Over the past 13 months, I've traveled to 13 drop zones around the world. Aside from my home DZ, Skydive Chicago is, without question, my favorite. The people, the coaching, and the culture make it a place I look forward to returning to again and again.

  Fabulous. Jumped on Mothers Day with my daughter Temisan. It was the best gift. An absolute surprise. I love surprises. Wow. I was paired with Chad. I hope you're fortunate enough to get him. Professional and and receptive. Matt was my videographer. He did an amazing job. This is also a great Harvest Host site.

  Where do I start with this...This was my first time skydiving and I am so happy that I choose Skydive Chicago. From the moment you walked in this place had a buzz of excitement and you knew that it was going to be a great day. The checkin process was easy and the team made you feel welcome. Then I had the privilege of having Silvio as my tandem jumper. I made no bones that I was excited but nervous since this was my first jump but he was cracking jokes and making the process FUN. but I say he was joking around but that was to make it fun but he was smooth and professional and made sure that everything was going to be safe and that I was going to have and I did have a GREAT first jump. Now, you can not forgot about the pictures and Matt was great taking the video and pictures. So if you are looking for a place to take your first jump this is the place and after experiencing the rush of skydiving I may do more because everyone here made this an OUTSTANDING experience
